La prevención de la fiebre del dengue, reto y desafío en la Atención Primaria de Salud / The prevention of dengue fever: a challenge in primary health care

RESUMEN Es indudable que, entre las arbovirosis, la fiebre del dengue constituye un grave problema de salud, por lo que se hace necesario incentivar a la población en aras de solucionar las dificultades que impiden la labor de prevención de esta enfermedad y el establecimiento de estrategias comunitarias con acciones educativas y de comunicación social por parte del médico y de la enfermera en la Atención Primaria de Salud, que permita consolidar el trabajo interdisciplinario e intersectorial en el enfrentamiento al vector y esta enfermedad como su consecuencia. El objetivo de la investigación es destacar la importancia del trabajo de prevención de esta enfermedad como reto y desafío en la Atención Primaria de Salud.

ABSTRACT There is no doubt that, among the arboviruses, dengue fever constitutes a serious health problem, for which it is necessary to encourage the population in order to solve the difficulties that impede the work of preventing this disease and the establishment of community strategies with educational and social communication actions by the doctor and the nurse in primary health care, which allows the consolidation of interdisciplinary and intersectoral work in confronting the vector and this disease as its consequence. The objective of the research is to highlight the importance of the work of prevention of this disease as a challenge in primary health care.

Competencias investigativas en profesionales de Enfermería de la Atención Primaria de Salud: necesidad inaplazable / Researching competences in Nursing professionals of Primary Health Care: urgent need

RESUMEN La enfermería es una profesión que debe investigar distintas y mejores formas de brindar cuidados basados en el avance de los conocimientos y resultados obtenidos mediante la investigación. Esta profesión tiene dos compromisos: responder a las demandas de salud de una sociedad dinámica donde los conocimientos científicos y tecnológicos se hacen obsoletos con gran rapidez; y como disciplina, generar conocimientos, divulgarlos y aplicarlos para mejorar el cuidado a las personas y grupos sociales; sin embargo, no todos sus profesionales están conscientes de la necesidad de mantener una búsqueda activa y permanente a través de la superación profesional, por lo que estos autores destacan la importancia de desarrollar sus competencias investigativas en vínculo, en lo fundamental, con la atención primaria de salud.

ABSTRACT Nursing is a profession that must research on different and better ways of providing care based on the advancement of knowledge and results obtained through research. This profession has two commitments: to respond to the health demands of a dynamic society where scientific and technological knowledge is rapidly becoming obsolete; and as a discipline, generate knowledge, disseminate it and apply it to improve care for people and social groups; however, not all its professionals are aware of the need to maintain an active and permanent search through professional improvement, so these authors highlight the importance of developing their researching competencies in connection, fundamentally, with primary health care.

Consideraciones sobre la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica familiar / Considerations on the family obstetric psycoprophylaxis

RESUMEN El gran desarrollo del programa materno infantil en Cuba y la gran atención que a este se brinda hace que muchos médicos limitan a la embarazada al reposo y todavía hay muchas mujeres que se enfrentan al parto sin un entrenamiento previo. Por la importancia de este tema en materia de salud materno infantil se realizó esta revisión bibliográfica con el propósito de aumentar el nivel de conocimientos de los profesionales sobre los beneficios de la misma y lograr un trabajo en equipo del personal que integre el programa, para de esta manera, conseguir el máximo beneficio para las madres, bebés y sus familias. Está demostrado que le hace bien a la mujer embarazada y al bebé. Una gestante preparada es una gestante colaboradora. Por tanto, el entrenamiento junto a hábitos sanos de vida conllevara a que la embarazada tenga un parto en las mejores condiciones físicas y psíquicas, para de esta forma lograr un hijo sano, fuerte y una gran gratificación para toda la familia. La participación activa del padre conseguirá mayor armonía familiar (AU).

SUMMARY The great development of the maternal-infantile program in Cuba and the great attention provided to this, leads to the limitation of pregnant women to rest by doctors, and there are still many women facing the childbirth without a previous training. Due to the importance of this topic in the matter of maternal-infantile health, the authors carried out the current bibliographical review with the purpose of increasing the level of the professionals' knowledge about its benefits and of achieving a team work of the staff integrating the program, and that way, to get the maximum benefit for mothers, babies and their families. It is proved that it makes well to pregnant woman and to the baby. A trained pregnant woman is a collaborative pregnant woman. Therefore, training together with healthy life habits leads pregnant women to childbirth in the better physical and health conditions, delivering this way a healthy, strong child and achieving a great gratification for the whole family. The father's active participation will get bigger family harmony (AU).

Consideraciones sobre la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica en la adolescencia / Considerations on the obstetric psicoprofilaxis in the adolescence

RESUMEN A pesar del desarrollo del programa materno infantil en Cuba existe un gran número de adolescentes que se embarazan, a lo que se adiciona la gran atención que se brinda al programa materno infantil, por lo que muchos médicos limitan a la embarazada al reposo, sobre todo si se trata de una adolescente y esto trae como consecuencia que generalmente se enfrentan al parto sin un entrenamiento previo. Por la importancia de este tema en materia de salud materno infantil, se realizó este trabajo con el propósito de hacer reflexionar a todos los integrantes del programa y aumentar el nivel de conocimientos de los profesionales sobre las ventajas de la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica en las gestantes adolescentes, así como fomentar un trabajo en equipo para de esta manera conseguir el máximo beneficio de las madres adolescentes, los bebés y sus familias. Una gestante adolescente preparada es una gestante colaboradora con un parto en las mejores condiciones físicas y psíquicas, para así lograr así un hijo sano, fuerte y la felicidad más grande de su vida (AU).

SUMMARY Despite the development of the maternal and child program in Cuba, there are a large number of teenagers who become pregnant to which is added the great attention that is given to the maternal and child program, so many doctors limit the pregnant woman to rest, especially if It is a teenage girl and this brings as a consequence that they generally face childbirth without prior training. Due to the importance of this topic in maternal and child health, this work was carried out with the purpose of making all the members of the program reflect and increase the level of knowledge of professionals about the advantages of obstetric psychoprophylaxis in pregnant adolescents, as well as encouraging teamwork to obtain the maximum benefit from teenage mothers, babies and their families. A pregnant pregnant woman is a pregnant collaborator with a birth in the best physical and psychic conditions, thus achieving a healthy, strong child and the greatest happiness of her life (AU).
